What to Expect on School Dentist Visit Day

Portable Dental Setup

Our team will set up portable dental equipment at the Childcare Centre/school to perform check-ups, cleanings, and fluoride applications for students.

Oral Health Education

We will deliver an educational presentation to students, explaining proper oral hygiene practices and healthy eating habits for dental protection.

Parent Communication

At the end of the visit, we will send a detailed report to parents, outlining their child’s dental condition and any recommended treatments.

Why two dental check-ups a year?

Early Detection

Regular six-month check-ups allow dentists to identify and address dental issues in their early stages, preventing more serious problems and potentially costly treatments down the line.

Consistent Oral Health Maintenance

Bi-annual visits ensure thorough professional cleanings, removing plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing and flossing might miss. This helps maintain optimal oral health and prevents gum disease.

Tracking Dental Development

For children and adolescents, twice-yearly check-ups enable dentists to monitor tooth development, alignment, and growth patterns. This allows for timely interventions if orthodontic issues arise and ensures proper dental maturation.
